Katy Perry parties on New Year's Eve sans Russell Brand

Singer Katy Perry partied and danced away the whole night with mystery men on New Year's eve. The Onlookers in the club Soho House say that the pop star was in a great form. But her husband Russell Brand, who filed for divorce from her on Friday, was alone at the Savoy in London and he did not have any celebrations.

Sources from the club Soho House say, “She was in a private room with a group and she seemed to be in a great mood. She spent most of the night dancing and laughing with friends." They add that Katy and a male friend got on the dance floor at midnight “twirling each other around and dancing holding hands."

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been married for 14 months. But Russell filed the divorce papers filed in LA citing 'irreconcilable differences'. However, there were new year celebrations for Russell, who stayed in his hotel room and ordered food from room service.
