Houston

The
sad
news
about
her
death
was
announced
by
Los
Angeles
County
Chief
Coroner
Ed
Winter
in
a
press
conference
on
Sunday.
Whitney
Houston,
who
was
expected
to
attend
a
pre-Grammy
gala
was
found
dead
in
her
bathtub
a
few
hours
before
the
event.
Though
paramedics
tried
hard
to
revive
Houston,
they
did
not
succeed.
Beverly
Hills
police
Lt.
Mark
Rosen
informed
reporters
that
Houston
was
pronounced
dead
at
3:55
pm
in
her
room
on
the
fourth
floor
of
the
hotel.
He
also
told
press
persons
that
there
was
no
signs
of
any
criminal
intent.
As
per
NBC
news,
a
coroner's
van
left
the
hotel
with
Houston's
body
early
morning
on
Sunday.
Meanwhile,
Whitney
Houston's
publicist,
Kristen
Foster
said
the
cause
of
death
was
unknown.
Only
an
autopsy
can
determine
the
cause
of
death.
