The American music artist Chris Brown left everybody shocked by proclaiming to quit his music career soon. The 24-year old says that he is tired of being famous. Chris wants to quit the industry because he is fed up of still hitting the headlines for the domestic violence altercation he had with ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
Chris who taught himself to sing and dance in his childhood has
had a successful music career. After singing in a church choir and
other local talent shows, he got an opportunity to sign a record
and his first single called 'Run It!' became a hit. Later he sang
many other singles that became famous worldwide.
However, he got into a lot of trouble after the case against him for domestic violence in 2009. He received a lot of media attention after pleading guilty to felony assault of Rihanna. He was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service.
Chris wants no more of this public attention. Looks like he wants to have a private life and stay away from media. The 24-year-old is currently working on his sixth studio album called 'X' and he says this may be the last one. "Don't worry mainstream America. After this 'X' album, it'll probably be my last album," Brown posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
"Being famous is amazing when it's for your music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool and over it! (sic)," he tweeted.
