Rita Ora Makes Catwalk Debut At New York Fashion Week

By Ians English

Singer Rita Ora made her modelling debut at the New York Fashion Week recently. She walked for luxury label DKNY and looked stunning in a monochrome ensemble.

The 23-year-old catwalked confidently on the runway with Beastie Boys' hit "Fight for your right" playing in the background. The singer has just replaced her friend actress Cara Delevingne as the face of the label, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Rita Ora seemed extremely confident as she emerged wearing a black neoprene skater skirt and a short T-shirt with the brand's insignia emblazoned all over it. She looked absolutely at ease as she walked on the ramp with lace-up heels against a true New York backdrop of graffiti, scaffolding and a yellow taxi. The beautiful pop singer sported her trademark bleach blonde hair and red lipstick.

Other celebrities like Kelly Osbourne, Disney starlet Bella Thorne and Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis were present for the show. Also, top models like Chanel Iman and Karlie Kloss walked the runway before Ora stepped in. The youthful and vibrant collection marked DKNY's 25th anniversary. It included colourful flare dresses, and baggy jeans with crop tops.

Rita looked fabulous in a DKNY matching shirt and trouser combination as she left the event.
