Top Malayalam Movies To Watch Out This January
After the moderately successful 2015, Malayalam movie industry is all set to welcome the 2016 with huge expectations. There are some high profile movies awaiting releases this year; especially in the first month, January.
Some highly anticipated star-studded projects, which were actually expected to hit the theatres in November and December months of 2015, are releasing in January 2016. Here are some of the much awaited movies, which are likely to be released in January
The upcoming Mammootty-Nayantara starrer movie, which is written and directed by AK Sajan, was actually slated to be released for 24th December, 2015. But the movie has been postponed due to undisclosed reasons, and is expected to be released by the second week of January.
The highly anticipated Nivin Pauly starrer, which is also the production debut of the actor, is slated to release on January 16th. The movie, which is directed by 1983 fame Abrid Shine, stars newcomer Anu Emmanuel in the female lead.
The comical thriller, which stars Prithviraj in the lead role, is directed by Marthandan. The movie, which stars Anoop Menon, Asha Sarath, Miya George, etc in the pivotal roles, is expected to be hit the theatres by January 2nd week.
The upcoming Fahadh Faasil starrer comical entertainer, directed by Akkara Kazhchakal fame Abi Varghese, will hit the theatres on January 15th. The movie is produced by popular actor Thampy Anthony under the banner Kayal Films.
