Written and directed by the talented Pa Ranjith with dialogue penned by Tamizh Prabha, "Thangalaan" promises to be a captivating tale based on real-life incidents that unfolded in the historic Kolar Gold Fields (KGF).

A Stellar Cast In The Historical Drama "Thangalaan"

The highly anticipated project, initially scheduled for a January 26, 2024 release, has been indefinitely postponed due to delays in post-production. Initially set for an April 2024 release, the Pa. Ranjith directorial's release date has been further pushed back to allow more time for post-production and promotional activities. There are also unconfirmed reports indicating that the team behind Vikram's starrer believes that releasing the film after the 2024 elections could potentially enhance its performance. Consequently, the period action drama may now hit theatres in June or July 2024.
