Expectations With the successful combo of Billa (Ajith Kumar, Nayantara, Vishnuvardhan and Yuvan Shankar Raja) joining hands again, the expectations are obviously very high on the Tamil movie.
Adding to that, Thala and the director's last movies (Billa 2 and Panjaa in Telugu) had failed to impress audience. Hence, they too want to deliver a hit. Is Arrambam up to the hype? What has Vishnuvardhan churned out for Ajith Kumar along with Nayantara, Arya and Taapsee Pannu?
Simple, elegant and class but richly crafted to keep you tuned to the screen - 'Arrambam' is an interesting story in a gripping screenplay. There has been ample hype about this movie, especially after the edge-of-the-seat partnership that Ajith and director Vishnuvardhan shared in their earlier outing 'Billa'. In an elegant introduction, Thala enters the screen with a boom - well, quite literally.
Right from frame one, it is clear that Ashok Kumar (Ajith) is a man on a mission and one who is hell bent on exposing the people behind an ugly scam and bringing them to book. He has his comrades who will go to any lengths for him and help him in his operation.
Director Vishnuvardhan, writer duo Subha and editor Sreekar Prasad have to be commended for managing to keep the audiences hooked to their seats for a majority of the movie with very few drag moments.
After Billa, Ajith and Vishnuvardhan come together for Aarambam. An action thriller loaded with twists and turns is what the movie is all about.
