Kutty Pisasu, which is the 121st film of veteran film maker Rama Narayanan, is touted as a complete kids entertainer. The director sticks to his age old formula that was popular in the seventies like Namma Veettu Deivam and Jagan Mohini.
The only change is a Robo car that plays the dominant role instead of elephants, snacks and dogs in Kutty Pisasu. There is nothing new in the storyline and same director often used the same in his Palayathamman (The Vadivelu-Ramya Krishnan portion) and other movies.
The story goes like this...
Priya (Baby Keerthika) is the daughter of a typical Brahmin couple Sangeetha and Ramji. Sangeetha’s father Delhi Ganesh is always mischievous, but all of them pouring love on Priya. But unfortunately, the spirit of Sangeetha’s best friend Kaveri possesses Priya. There is main flashback, which portrays Kaveri and her brother Ganja Karuppa's simple and lovable life. Both have owned an yellow car, which was their priced possession. But their evil cousin Riaz Khan who was to marry her, sacrifices Kaveri to a black magician Mandiramoorthy.
In this Kutty Pisasu film, Baby Keerthika, Sangeetha Krish played the primary leads.
The Kutty Pisasu was released in theaters on 07 May 2010.
The Kutty Pisasu was directed by Rama Narayanan
