Nenjirukkum Varai is as stale as yesterday's bread. Not surprisingly this corny romantic bore has been borrowed heavily from Serendipity till interval and the long delay in making shows the film resembles a dust-coated antique.
Ganesan (Narain) is an auto driver who is honest and strives hard to come with life. He leads a happy life with his mother Kalairani and father Thalaivasal Vijay and brother. His life moves smoothly. The unexpected series of acquaintance with Bhuvana (Deepa/Poonam Kaur) make Ganesan and Bhuvana fall in love with each other.
The class problem arises between them. Bhuvana is the only daughter of industrialist Rangasamy Naidu (Mahadevan). Her father is thy other name for Midas. He opposes their love strongly. But in the case of Ganesan's family they accept her. Their marriage is being held in a simple way.
