Pattathu Yaanai Story

Pattathu Yaanai is an tamil comedy - romantic movie direction by Boopathy Pandian. The movie Starring With Vishal, Aishwarya Arjun and Santhanam in Lead Roles.

Pattathu Yaanai, after the success of Malaikottai, director Boopathy Pandian and action star Vishal are joining hands on a “fun, action, romantic” movie. There are two other box office drivers for the movie: Santhanam and Santhanam. Yes, for those who haven’t had enough of the comic takes of the most happening star in Tamil cinema now, Pattathu Yaanai has the actor playing a double role.

Also adding novelty value to the movie is the launch of Aishwarya, the daughter of ‘action king’ Arjun. Incidentally, Vishal had started his film career assisting Arjun in his heydays on his directorial ventures Vedham and Ezhumalai.

While these promotional factors can only take a film’s success so far, Pattathu Yaanai indeed comes with no pretensions. Vishal, who has bought part of the distribution rights of the movie, says the film tries to ride on the recent success of comedies in Tamil cinema.

Movie story is about the catering service group held in the name of punkavanam, Santhanam and Vishal used to go for catering service to different places. Vishal says an idea to Santhanam that instead of moving to different places, we can open a grand hotel and why not we can become a busy business man. 

The idea holds Santhanam and they start to moving towards Karaikudi to Trichy. There they faces some problems and how they solve those problems is an  balance story. Director Boopathy Pandiyan narrated the story with high humour sense.
