Pugazh is a Tamil action thriller movie directed by Udhyam NH4 fame Mani Maran. The movie has Jai, Surabhi and RJ Balaji in the lead roles.

Pugazh is an action drama film, which is well narrated by the young writer cum movie maker Manimaran. The story of Pugazh is set on the crossing of two paths between the youth and the cunning political troupe, and the issues that follow.

The clash between the two groups starts with the misunderstandings, While Jai ostensibly leads one side, it is Maarimuthu as the rough politician who remains firm on the other.

What happens next is the rest of the story narrated with the comical extension of love and comedy to be watched on big screen.

Production

Pugazh is jai's character name in the film. Producer Sushant says "All our lives knowingly or unknowingly we have always rooted for the underdog, maybe because we see ourselves in them.

Everybody loves an underdog. Pugazh is one such underdog trying to overcome several hurdles. Jai and Mani Maran has superbly executed the emotions in the script" We were discussing many possible names for the heroine's role, but after all the discussions we had zeroed on Surabi of 'Ivan Vera Mathiri'. "She was the perfect choice to play Jai's pair in this film.

The first schedule is over and the second schedule has started today on full throttle and the entire crew is upbeat about the project" says Director Manimaran. This film is produced by Sushant Prasad and Govindaraj for Film Department and presented by Varun Manian of Radiance Media.
