Romeo Juliet Story

Romeo and Juliet is a Tamil romantic movie directed by Laxman, who produced the SJ Surya-Nayan starrer, "Kalvanin Kadhali". Jayam Ravi romance Hansika yet again in his next film after Engeyum Kadhal, which was directed by Prabhu Deva.

Story

The film has been ten-tatively titled Romeo Juliet — The New Version. The Romeo Juliet story is basically about the couples who have positive and negative in them and when it meets in the form of love, what happens? Is the rest of the story.

Jayam Ravi plays the character of gym trainer from Sowkarpettai (slum area). Hansika plays the character of fully charm and always moves her life with positivity. She works as an air hostess and she wanted to be the same with well rich life.

Jayam Ravi basically has negatively within him and loses his real strength in many places. Later Hansika believes that Ravi is a rich and falls in love with him, but later she rejects him after knowing about the real life of Ravi.

Then Ravi meets Poonam and they both fall in love with him, the rest of the story explains about how they get back together to be watched on big screen.

The movie kickstarted with photoshoot with Jayam Ravi and Hansika on March 23rd, 2014. The satellite rights of the film were sold to Sun TV.
