Ajith Bhavana bag Filmfare awards

Ajith has bagged the Filmfare award for Best Actor. The Best Actress award was given away to Bhavana. Ajith got the award for his performance in Varalaru. This is the first time that Bhavana is getting the Filmfare Best Actress Award. The awards were announced today. Times' Group FM radio channel announced the winners today morning.

The awards are the most prestigious awards in the Tamil Film Industry. It is great recognition for an actor to get a Filmfare award. The jury, which selects the winners, finalized the winners yesterday. The Filmfare Annual Awards will take place in August 4th in Hyderabad. All the winners will be present at the event.

Best Lyric Writer - Na. Muthukumar, Song- Veyiloodu Vilayadi.... for Veyil
Best Director- Vasanthabalan for Veyil
Best Film- Veyil
