Vethalayai
Pottendi
sakthi
konjam
yeruthadi...,
the
famous
kuthu
song
in
the
80's
film
Billa
will
be
remixed
for
the
remake
of
the
film.
The
song
was
originally
written
by
Kaviyarasu
Kannadasan
and
composed
by
legendary
MS
Viswanathan
for
the
original,
which
had
Rajini
in
the
lead
role.
The
orignal
flick
rocked
the
Box
Office
and
set
new
standards
for
an
action
film.
Rajini's
dances
with
Sripriya
and
his
paan
chewing
style
made
the
song
more
popular
than
the
film
itself.
In
the
remake,
Ajith
will
be
chew
paan
and
shakes
his
legs
with
the
sexy
Nayantara.
The
entire
crew
of
Billa-2007
has
flew
to
Malaysia
to
shoot
the
remix
of
Vethalayai
Pottendi…
Nayan
is
all
excited
to
shoot
the
song
which
will
have
the
same
lyric
and
tunes
of
the
legendary
duo,
with
the
modern
touches
of
Yuvan
Shankar
Raja.
The
song
is
going
to
be
picturised
on
Ajith
and
Nayan
similar
to
a
music
video
by
leading
choreographer
Kalyan
under
the
supervision
of
Vishnuvardhan,
the
director
who
always
knows
the
pulse
of
the
generation
next.
Earlier
the
producer
of
Billa
Ananda
Suresh
had
made
a
complaint
on
Nayantara
that
the
actress
was
refused
to
give
her
dates
to
complete
the
film.
Nayantara
was
shocked
to
hear
this
complaint
and
later
rushed
to
the
council
and
gave
an
explanation
for
her
refusal
to
the
producer.
According
to
Nayan,
the
producer
had
wasted
a
month
of
her
call
sheets
of
the
actress
and
now
she
is
committed
to
her
Telugu
projects.
But
the
functionaries
of
the
council
have
requested
the
actress
to
adjust
her
dates
and
help
the
producer
finish
the
film
shooting
and
release
during
Diwali.
Nayan,
the
complete
professional,
had
gone
out
of
her
way
to
adjust
dates
from
her
'Thulasi'
producer
to
make
time
to
complete
the
remaining
portions
of
Billa.
Pyramid
Saimira
has
purchased
the
Indian
theatrical
rights
of
Billa-2007
for
a
biog
amount.
The
corporate
film
company
had
already
got
the
rights
of
Diwali
releases
Azhagiya
Tamil
Magan,
Kannamoochi
Enada
and
Shahrukh
Khan's
Om
Shanthi
Om.
With
these
films
Pyramid
Saimira
has
emerged
as
the
single
biggest
Kollywood
corporate,
who
has
got
some
of
the
biggest
movies
with
them.
They
also
control
the
most
number
of
screens
in
Tamil
Nadu
and
Kerala.
Now
Pyramid
Saimira
is
in
the
driver's
seat
both
dictates
the
release
of
a
film
and
availability
of
screens
for
the
release.
Till
last
week
it
was
doubtful
about
the
release
of
Billa
for
this
Diwali.
But
after
Pyramid
got
the
theatricals,
the
film
is
back
in
the
Diwali
race.
The
crew
of
Billa
is
at
present
camping
in
Malaysia
to
shoot
few
scenes
and
a
song
with
Ajith
-
Nayantara.
They
are
expected
to
return
to
Chennai
next
week.
The
postproduction
work
on
the
film
will
be
kick
started
from
around
the
third
week
of
October.
