Action King in Mega Star's movie

The shooting of Aruvadai, starring megastar Mammootty and the actress with the million-dollar smile, Sneha, started on Saturday. The first scene was shot in a bungalow at the ECR Road near Chennai.

This is Mammootty's comeback film in Tamil and the same has been produced in Malayalam in the name of Vande Matharam. Debutant Director Karthik, an assistant of Mani Rathnam has directed the movie. Pankaj films' Hendry is the producer for this bilingual project.

The buzz is the producer is trying to rope in Arjun to play a crucial role in this patriotic action movie. It is said that Arjun is impressed with the script and a positive reply is expected from him. Kalaban Mani has a vital role in the film.

Mammootty plays an Intelligence Bureau officer in the film, who is fighting a fierce battle with a terrorist organization which is trying to infiltrate into the country's police and other departments. He is married to Sneha, a pilot, whose personal life is unhappy as she could not bear a child. The script is a perfect blend of patriotism,action, and family sentiments.

Vidyasagar is the music director and Rajesh Yadav is handling the camera.
