The couple Puskar-Gayatri, who have been trained in the US on cinema techniques, has achieved the distinction of being a husband-wife directorial team.

The film is Oram Po and for those who are not aware, it was earlier titled Auto and stars Arya and Pooja. Produced by V Pazhanivel and AC Anandan for AB Film Garden, the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar of Veyil fame.

How many are aware of the auto racing that takes place when the citizens have gone to bed and the roads are near empty. And about the exciting and frenzied betting? A few years back, a prominent weekly brought auto racing at night into prominence. The story of Oram Po is based on it.

As Chandru, Arya is supposed to have done a great job. By day, he's a regular auto driver who transforms at night into a daredevil auto racer! The directors feel Arya has delivered a grand performance in this demanding role.

The beautiful Pooja who does not need makeup to look pretty, has done a natural portrayal as a girl with a pushcart selling biriyani.

Triplicane area in Chennai has its own charm with its geographical layout, narrow streets, sea shore, temple and tank, and a major part of the film has been shot in these areas.

Among the upcoming cinematographers, Nirav Shah is one of the best. He was cameraman for the recently successful Dhoom II. In order to not lose focus in his work in Oram Po, he actually changed his dates for Dhoom II.

With so much commitment from everyone, Oram Po will definitely race to victory!
