asin thottumkal unhappy with Pongal releases

asin thottumkal, the present number one female actor in Tamil is very disappointed with the nature of her roles in her pongal releases - Pokkiri and Alwar. In both of these actoin cum hero oriented films, she acted opposite Vijay and Ajith respectively. The directors of these films had used asin thottumkal as a "coriander leaf for their masala" screenplay. Compared with Alwar, there only a little bit of acting in Pokkiri, asin thottumkal said in a dismal voice when the correspondent talk to her over phone.

'It is an usual exploitation of directors in all languages. When they narrate the story, they describe my character in a very likeable way. But after the release, it seems that they deliberately cut parts of footage with me . Or they changed my character as a senseless singing girl. At the name time I realised that all the directors are not Murugadass who gave me an unforgettable role in Gajini. I can understand that film industry is generally hero oriented and the fans are in 'hero worshippers" . So I can settle for, atleast in my mind, for between the poor and the worst of roles.'

Do you believe that you are the number one in Tamil?
If I say that I don't have any faith on this number games, you told that it is a boring answer! Tell me...what is the parameter set by people like you for the slot? If you thought that the number of films released in an occasion is the measurement... yes.. For this pongal I'm the number one heroine. But for this years Tamil New year releases, this number will goes to Thrisha or Bhavana or somebody else.
