Asin's creative inclinations

Actress Asin, another in the league of beautiful and talented actresses from the South who have made their mark in Bollywood, has a high intelligence quotient as well. She is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of Gajini, pairing opposite Aamir Khan. But in between, whenever she finds time, she loves to write English poetry to seek an outlet for her creative energies. She has the right academic credentials as well to back up her favourite hobby; she's a B.A. in English Literature from St. Teresa's College in Cochin. Moreover, she is also fluent in French.

She hails from a highly educated and intelligent family: her father is a former CBI officer, and her mother is a surgeon in the Kerala Government Hospital. Asin has the urge and the ambition to try her luck at the prestigious and higly competitive Civil Services Examination, just to prove to the world that the commercial film industry is not intellectually barren, and actors can excel in academics too, if they want.

As far as her acting career is concerned, Asin is definitely going places. Apart from doing the Aamir starrer Gajini, she is flooded with offers from Bollywood. Indeed, this actress is the right mix of beauty with brains.
