Puthiya Vaarpugal again from Bagyaraj!

The trend of naming the title of a movie of a yesteryear blockbuster movie or song is continues. Bagyaraj, the veteran filmmaker joins the league of directors, who titled their films with old hits like Polladhavan, Billa, Naan Avanillai, Thottal Poo Malarum etc., Now, Bagyaraj has taken his own Pudhiya Vaarpugal, as his next project.

Pudhiya Varpugal is the yesteryear blockbuster directed by veteran Bharathiraaja with his disciple K Bhagyaraj screen debut in the movie. Bagyaraj was the in charge for the story and dialogue for this old classic of Bharathiraaja. Now K Bhagyaraj is going to direct his son Shantanu Bhagyaraj in this movie with the same title, Pudhiya Vaarpugal.

The story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Bhagyaraj himself. The film is produced under Bagyaraj's own banner KBR Medias Pvt Ltd for Moser Baer Entertainment. Newcomer Chandini is venturing as the heroine. Shooting of the movie is expected to start next month after Shantanu wraps up his shooting for Sakkarakatti. Bagyaraj will appear in an important role in this film after Paarijatham.
