Unless
the
Tamil
Film
Producers
Council
steps
in
and
solves
the
issue
amicably,
Billa's
simultaneous
release
in
Kerala
will
be
impossible.
Now,
Kerala
has
also
joined
the
league
of
anti
Tamil
films
states!
Like
the
Mullai
Periyar
dam
controversy
or
bifurcation
of
Palakkad
Railway
division
and
forming
of
Salem
division,
the
simultaneous
release
of
Tamil
films
in
Kerala
is
also
going
to
snowball
into
major
issue!
For
the
past
one
year,
there
has
been
a
ban
in
Kerala
on
simultaneous
release
of
Tamil
films
along
with
Tamil
Nadu.
All
the
Tamil
films
can
be
released
only
after
two
weeks
of
its
release
in
Tamil
Nadu,
to
protect
the
interest
of
Malayalam
films.
The
ban
imposed
by
the
Film
Distributors
Association
of
Kerala
last
year,
but
they
allowed
Pokkiri,
Sivaji
and
recently
ATM
as
exemptions.
But
after
ATM,
the
association
strictly
told
that
they
would
not
allow
any
Tamil
movies
to
release
simultaneously.
Because
of
this
ban,
Ajith
starrer
big
movie
Billa
is
suffering
and
fighting
hard
to
get
permission
from
film
distributors
association
to
release
in
Kerala.
For
Tamil
superstar
films,
Kerala
has
become
a
major
territory,
and
if
simultaneous
release
is
not
there
the
collections
suffer
as
pirated
VCD's
of
the
film
flood
the
market.
Aanada
Suresh,
the
producer
of
Billa
still
has
his
strong
hold
on
the
film
trade
bodies
like
Film
Chamber
and
producer's
Council
is
now
negotiating
with
Kerala
distributors
personally!
