Another release doing well is Jithan Ramesh's Madurai Veeran. The actor said he was very happy with the success of the film. The success of this film has given his career a rebirth after his consecutive flops last year. 'The film has helped me establish myself as an action-hero in Tamil cinema,' Ramesh said in a relaxed mood when I met him at his T.Nagar office. Though he is the elder son of Producer R.B.Chowdhry, he never tried his luck with his home production. His only hit movie Madurai Veeran apart is Jithan also produced by Radhika Sarath Kumar.
After Jithan, he have been acting in nearly 4 films but all were disasters in the box office. Now he has 4 films on hand. His next release will be Puli Varudhu, directed by new comer Vijayakumar. Kamna is acting in the female lead against him. Potti is one of his on going projects which is being directed by Pawan. Discussions are going on for his next film with Kavi Kalidass, director of Unnai Kodu Ennai Tharuven. K.Bagyaraj will appear in an important role in this film and he will acting opposite Simran acts as his pair. Bagyaraj is writing the screenplay for the film.
