After
getting
the
exclusive
rights
for
the
superstar
Rajinikanth's
blockbuster
Shivaji,
Kalaignar
TV,
the
proposed
new
channel
of
the
ruling
DMK
has
won
in
the
deal
for
Dasavatharam
too!
Yesterday,
the
producer
of
the
film,
V.Ravichandiran
of
Oscar
Productions
revealed
this
news
after
the
deal
was
amicably
settled
with
the
channel
authorities.
Sources
say
that
the
channel
has
agreed
to
give
a
big
price
for
this
Kamal
starrer
movie,
which
is
nearly
equal
to
what
they
paid
for
Rajini's
Shivaji.
In
Dasavatharam,
Kamal
Hassan
is
starring
in
10
different
roles
for
the
first
time
in
the
history
of
Indian
cinema.
The
proposed
budget
for
the
film,
according
to
Ravichandiran,
is
about
Rs.42
crore.
The
IDBI
Bank
has
financed
the
major
portion
of
the
budget,
and
the
producer
is
expecting
that
the
film
might
require
a
few
more
crores
to
be
completed.
On
the
other
hand,
the
Sun
Network
is
very
busy
in
getting
the
rights
of
other
big
movies
like
the
Vijay
starrer
Azhagiya
Tamil
Magan
and
Pokkiri.
The
rights
to
other
biggies
like
Kreedom
and
Bheema
have
already
been
awarded
to
Kalaignar
TV.
