Kamal Hassan to direct an AIDS film

One of India's top directors, Mira Nair is producing 4 short films centering on AIDS awareness.

Meera Nair has announced that one of these films is to be directed by Kamal Hassan, but the cast has not yet been decided.

Out of the 4, Meera Nair herself will be directing one film, but the cast has not been decided for this too. The other two films are to be directed by Santosh Sivan and Vishal Bharadwaj.

Meera Nair announced that Prabhu Deva is to act in the film directed by Santosh Sivan. There is no news if these films will be entered for awards competition or be screened in theatres.

It is to be lauded that prominent personalities are campaigning against AIDS. Meera Nair deserves kudos for her efforts.
