Kamal
Hassan
is
rumoured
to
now
star
in
a
film
by
ADLABS
with
Bollywood
hunk
Hritik
Roshan.
Hritik
was
earlier
Shankars’s
first
choice
for
his
new
sc-fi
flick
Robot.
If
the
rumours
prove
to
be
true,
the
actor
will
be
paid
20
crores
for
his
role
in
the
movie
making
him
the
second
most
paid
actor
after
Rajinikanth.
The
company
is
reported
to
be
spending
Rs.
100
crore
on
the
project.
It
is
to
be
an
action
packed
entertainer,
which
will
be
on
par
with
Hollywood
film
standards.
Another
film
that
he
will
most
probably
be
acting
in
will
be
Maruthanayagam,
which
was
dropped
due
to
lack
of
funds
a
few
years
back.
Interestingly
the
Shankar
-
SRK
film
too
is
planned
with
a
budget
of
Rs.
100
crore.
Kamal
Hassan
made
an
appearance
in
the
Chennai
City
High
Court
in
connection
with
the
copyright
infringement
case
filed
against
his
film
Dasavatharam.
Senthil
Kumar,
an
assistant
director,
filed
a
case
claiming
that
the
films
story
was
his
and
that
the
producer
and
the
director
cheated
him
out
of
it.
The
judges
presiding
over
the
case
ordered
foe
the
presence
of
the
producer
and
the
actor.
The
actor
appeared
in
front
of
the
judge
yesterday.
He
told
the
judge
that
he
himself
had
written
the
story
of
the
film
quite
a
while
back.
In
a
separate
room,
he
stated
his
case
with
the
help
of
his
lawyer
in
the
presence
of
the
Senthil
Kumar.
He
also
agreed
to
submit
to
the
court
an
English
version
of
the
films
script.
The
actor
claimed
that
all
his
years
in
the
industry
leave
with
better
options
than
to
lift
stories
written
by
other
people.
The
petitioner
explained
himself
before
in
a
secret
inquiry
before
the
Chief
Justice.
The
judge
has
postponed
the
hearing
to
the
13th
of
August.
