Kamal withdraws from Saran film

It is sad news for Kamal-Saran fans. The successful combination of Vasool Raaja M.B.B.S. has broken up due to some misunderstanding.

Kamal decided to take up the project of Director Saran after the completion of his dream project Dasavatharam. Initially Saran made an agreement with Kamal to produce the film under his own banner 'Gemini Productions'. But later he handed over the project to London based NRI Karuna without the knowledge of Kamal.

It irritated the legendary actor, and he decided to drop the film. Yesterday he conveyed his decision to Saran through his brother Chandrahassan.

Later Chandrahassan told the press, 'Kamal is not a new face to the industry. Everybody knows his commitment and dedication towards the profession. One should keep honest in any profession. Saran made an agreement with Kamal to produce and direct a film under his own banner. But he shifted this to somebody without our knowledge. This has really surprised and shocked us. So Kamal has decided to withdraw him from the project"¦'

When we enquired with Saran on the issue, he replied, 'I won't like to comment on this issue at this juncture. I'm trying to contact Kamal sir to convey what had happened in this issue"¦'

Sources say that the director has made efforts to convince the actor through his close friends and got a positive nod from the legend. Since Saran signed an agreement with London Karunas and received a hefty amount for the changeover, he is in a the position to solve the issue amicably.
