Kamal's screenplays at the World Book Fair

The screenplays of Kamal Hassan's Hey Ram and Mahanadhi were released in Malayalam at the inaugural function of the World Book Fair in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday held at the Chandrashekar Nair stadium. The book titled 'Kamala Hassante Randu Thirakadhagal' has been published by DC Books and translated into Malayalam by writer Vishwananthan. Notable writer T Padmanabhan released it.

After released the books Kamal said, "It is really a great day for me. I'm touched that the highly literate Kerala wants my works in their language. Somebody asked me to publish my Dasavatharam screenplay too in Malayalam. I've a long way to go. A time could come when the published scripts will win Sahitya Academy awards." Seen at the event were KP Mohan, President Asianet Television, Ravi (DC Books), T Padmanabhan and MV Devan are the VIPs attended the function.
