Kavya plays a TV anchor!

Kavya Madhavan, one of the talented actresses in Malayalam, has staged a comeback to Tamil films after a couple of years. She is acting in Siddique's Tamil film Saadhu Mirandal which was launched recently in Chennai.

Kavya is playing the role of a TV anchor and soft- looking Prasanna plays the role of an innocent boy.

This time Kavya has done a lot to sustain her position in Kollywood. She has lost nearly 6 kgs of her weight and has also made changes in her hairstyle and facial appearance!

Kavya said, "I was waiting for a right script to make a re- entry in to Tamil cinema, having nursed the dream for a long time. I must thank Siddique for including me in his crew for his Tamil project Saadhu Mirandal. I hope this film will be pave the way for a good start for my Kollywood career…"

Director Siddique also appreciated the actress's efforts in making her looks more appealing to suit the character. He said, ''Saadhu Mirandal will become a perfect launching pad for Kavya in Tamil. The whole unit has given its best for the movie. We are confident that the outcome is going to be good. Saadhu Mirandal will be released simultaneously in Malayalam as well…"
