Producer
-Director
Keyar
has
announced
that
he
will
sue
actor
dhanush
following
his
tarnishing
statements
against
the
producer
over
his
salary
dues.
Currently
dhanush
is
engaged
in
the
filming
of
Parattai
Engira
Azhagu
Sundaram
which
is
being
produced
by
Keyar.
According
to
Danush,
the
producer
had
agreed
to
give
him
Rs.1.75
cr
as
salary
for
the
film.
After
the
completion
of
the
talky
portion,
Danush
claimed
that
the
producer
will
have
to
give
him
Rs.85
lacs.
He
has
filed
a
complaint
against
Keyar
for
the
same
in
Tamil
film
producer's
council.
Rama
Narayanan,
The
president
of
the
Association
has
called
both
sides
for
negotiation.
Meanwhile,
Keyar
has
issued
a
statement
over
the
issue.
According
to
him,
Parattai
Engira
Azhagu
Sundaram
is
a
remake
of
Kannada
super
hit
Jogi.
This
film
is
being
made
amidst
the
failures
of
Danush
films
like
Adu
Oru
Kanakaalam
and
Pudupettai.
The
actual
salary
agreed
to
by
Danush
at
that
time
was
Rs.
1
cr.
Till
date
he
has
paid
Rs.
88
lakhs
to
Danush
and
the
remaining
balance
is
Rs.12
lakhs
only.
He
wonders
why
Danush
is
claiming
Rs.
85
lakhs
as
his
dues.
Keyar
says
that
he
is
ready
to
show
the
agreement
papers
also
as
an
evidence
for
the
same.
But
Danush
side
is
not
placated
as
yet,
and
is
giving
statement
after
statement
on
this
issue.
In
context
of
the
issue,
Keyar
released
a
statement
today
in
which
he
blasted
the
actor
for
his
'discourteous
activities'.
If
the
actor
continued
with
the
same
in
future,
he
will
have
to
file
a
lawsuit
against
him.
After
seeing
the
Keyar
statement,
Rajini,
the
father-
in-
law
of
Danush,
might
decide
to
get
involved
in
this
issue.
Since
Keyar
is
a
very
close
friend
of
Rajini,
this
issue
might
get
settled
amicably
after
his
intervention
only.
