Madhavan, Neetu Chandra in Horror film

Madhavan has always been showing great interest in experiments in his career. When most of the people thought that he is capable of doing romantic roles only, he suddenly broke all the odds and established himself as an action hero through Run. Now for the first time, the actor will play the lead role in a horror film titled Yavarum Nalam.

Vikram, the director of Simbu starred Alai, is going to commence the shooting of Yavarum Nalam on 15 November.

Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra, known for her roles in Hindi films Traffic Signal and Garam Masala, plays opposite Madhavan. Earlier it was said that Esha Deol would play the female lead in the movie but, was changed recently. The movie has music of Shankar-Ehsaan and Loy and cinematography of PC Sreeram. Speaking about the film, Vikram says, "The film will be a thriller all the way. Its long time since a thriller film has hit the screens. Yavarum Nalam will surely satisfy the needs of viewers who are looking for a different genre…"
