Madhavan, the actor turned producer is taken serious effort to take the film Evano Oruvan in to international level. The film is the remake version of Marathi black buster 'Dombivili Fast' produced and directed by Nishikanth Kamath.
After seen the first copy of the film, Madhavan, the hero of the film has purchased the worldwide rights of the film behalf of his newly floated Leukos Films and has planned to promote the film in grand manner.
Madhavan says: "The original version of the film has won 27 international awards and also the National award for the best Marathi film. The Tamil version is handled by the same director and is almost an exact remake of its Marathi original and in my opinion, one of my best films till date". "Madhavan plays the role of Sridhar Vasudevan, an ordinary person from a middle class background", says Nishikanth Kamath. Cinematography for this film is by Sanjay Jadhav, music by G.V. Prakash, and the dialogues are by Madhavan himself, while director Seeman supervises them.
Sangeetha is playing the females lead of the film and director Seeman plays the cameo role. The film will be hit the screens all over the world on 7 December. Before the theatricals, Maddy planned the premier of Evano Oruvan in big level. The film would be shown at selected cities in USA, Canada, Middle East, Singapore and Malaysia, countries that have sizeable Indian population. On 26, October, Evano Oruvan would be screened at Los Angeles followed by the next day at New York. During November, the movie would be premiered at Bahrain, Oman, Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
These shows will involve a meet and greet with the cast and crew of the film and ten lucky winners from the show would get to have a dinner with the cast in each city.
