Mohanlal
will
be
plays
the
role
of
Alexander
the
Great
in
his
forthcoming
film
directed
by
Murali
Nagavally.
According
to
the
director,
it
is
not
a
historical
film,
but
a
comical
racy
entertainer.
The
shooting
of
the
film
will
be
expected
to
hit
the
floors
by
the
end
of
August.
Before
the
launch
of
this
movie,
the
actor
would
complete
all
his
earlier
commitments,
such
as
College
Kumaran
and
two
more
films.
The
writer
of
the
film
P.Balachandiran
is
known
for
creating
familiar
characters
for
the
actor.
In
film
like
Pavithram
he
has
penned
the
script
with
all
the
needy
ingredients
to
entertain
Mohanlal
fans.
It
would
be
produced
by
V.
B.
K.
Menon
under
the
banner
of
Anugraha
Cine
arts.
The
film
will
have
festival
movie
shot
in
and
around
Pondicherry,
Goa
and
Mumbai.
The
film
would
be
completed
by
the
end
of
the
year
2008
and
slated
for
Onam
release.
According
to
the
director,
the
film
would
be
a
short-
term
project
and
the
actor
has
allotted
only
40
days
call
sheets
to
complete
the
portions
related
to
him.
