Mumaith Khan speaks

Tamil Film Producers have found a sexy item girl, Mumaith Khan in place of the late Silk Smitha. She made her debut as an item dancer in film Thalai Nagaram. She has completed more than a dozen films in Tamil. But an item dance with Vijay in Pokkiri has brought her to the limelight. She has performed an item song in the recently released film Lee with Sibi.

On Sunday she met the press for the first time in Chennai.

Mumaith said that she did not have any long-term goals in her mind, except to celebrate life in its way.

'I'm quite happy with things going on smoothly in South. Though my birthplace is Mumbai, South cinema helps me survive. In Telugu also chances are pouring. I'm not expecting much more... But if the directors extent my character a little bit, I will be the happiest person in the world...' Mumaith said.

Now she has got offers for more than 7 films in Tamil including Parataxis Engira Azhagu Sundaram and Greedam. She acted as a police officer in a Telugu film with Dr. Rajasekar. Director Prabhu Deva also invited her to do an item song in Shankardadha Zindabad with Chiranjeevi.
