Mumtaz to scare the viewers

Thik... Thik is the most important project for Mumtaz at the moment for the simple reason that she doesn't have any other project in Tamil at present. She is going to scare the viewers through this horror film.

At one point of time, actress Mumtaz, an introduction of T.Rajender, seemed to be a big threat to all mainstream heroines of Kollywood. But she got into sexy roles and almost disappeared from the scene. It was T.Rajender who gave a new lease of life to the actress once again through his film Veerasamy.

Thik... Thik is a horror movie directed by Kalabhak Kadhalan fame Igor. Saranya will play the lead role and Mumtaz plays the role of the second fiddle. Asked about her chances after Veerasamy, Mumtaz said, "Thik... Thik would be quite different from the regular mainstream movies. After Veerasamy, I was waiting for a right role. Thankfully, it came with Thik...Thik. There is enough scope for me to perform along with Saranya."

According to the director, Mumtaz will play a seductive song in the film. That song was been shot recently at the floors of AVM and she was postured with a big wine bottle to her bosom.

It seems the director titled the movie only after signing the actress!
