Naan
Kadavul
has
changed
hands.
The
director
and
producer
of
the
film
have
dropped
out
the
film.
Problems
for
the
film
started
when
the
commencement
of
the
shooting
of
the
film,
which
was
launched
with
great
expectations,
was
delayed.
Because
of
this
delay,
the
films
lead
actress
Bhavana
quit
the
project.
To
add
to
this,
the
cost
of
production
of
the
film
exceeded
the
films
budget
when
shooting
of
only
10%
of
the
film
was
over.
Because
of
this
budget
blowup,
he
handed
over
the
film
to
another
producer
Sivasri
Srinivasan.
Sivasri
Srinivasan
was
associated
with
the
Pyramid
Saimira
production
house.
The
production
house
had
recently
released
a
press
release,
which
announced
that
it
had
the
rights
of
the
worldwide
release
of
the
film.
All
said
and
done,
Thenappan
is
happy
that
he
has
got
this
project
off
his
hands.
The
shooting
of
the
remaining
portion
of
the
film
will
commence
next
week
onwards
on
locations
in
and
around
Chennai
and
a
temple
near
Vellore.
Anyhow
Thenappan
is
happy
that
he
is
getting
out
of
the
project.
The
shoot
of
Naan
Kadavul
will
resume
from
next
week
in
and
around
Chennai
and
a
temple
near
Vellore.
Meanwhile
Thenappan,
who
was
relieved,
went
to
Tirupati
and
tonsured
his
hair
as
a
thanksgiving
offering
to
Lord
Venkateswara
-
thanking
for
saving
him
from
a
disaster!
