Bala silent over Parvati, Meenakshi

The confusion over the heroines for director Bala's much-expected and controversial project Naan Kadavul still continues. People are confused whether the director will choose Parvati Melton or Meenakshi for the female lead role.

Some said that Meenakshi, the latest darling of Kollywood is the leading lady of Arya in this film while others said that Parvati has won the hot seat. Parvati played the lead role in Sathyan Anthikad's Vinodayatra, a big Vishu hit in Malayalam.

When we contacted Bala to clarify the confusion, he said with his branded Madurai kusumbu, "Aamama Naattukku rumba thevai pangaali (Is it very important to the country now?). Leave this boss. Somebody will play the role. But the story will never depend on any particular actress. Anybody can do this role. I will disclose my choice of heroine soon. Please wait."

It is said that the director has finalized Parvati for the role of heroine in Naan Kadavul. The actress also has disclosed the matter. She said during an interview, "Bala sir is one of the finest directors in Tamil cinema. I have seen his films and I think it will be a perfect launch pad for me in Tamil."
