Navya Nair goes blind

Navya Nair, one of the promising heroine from Malayalam has got one more chance to prove her prowess in Tamil. Offers are coming in though her film with Maayakannadi ace director Cheran failed terribly at the box-office. Well, she has been chosen to play the role of a blind girl in a new film.

She will be playing the lead character in Jayaraj's Tamil debut venture Sila Nerangalil. According to the script, Navya is to play the role of a blind girl and the director is very hopeful that the actress would enact the job with perfection. Vincent Asokan, son of late villain Asokan is going to play role of a hero for the first time with this film. Recently, Navya had signed a Malayalam film titled Alibhai with Mohanlal under the direction of veteran Shaji Kailash.

In Tamil, she has given dates to Gowtham Menon's Vallamai Thaarayo and Simbhu Devan's Arain Enn 305-il Kadavul.
