Nayanthara
has
pleaded
with
the
media
to
stop
publicising
baseless
reports
that
she
has
refused
to
act
in
Telugu
megastar
Chiranjeevi's
149
th
film.
In
an
exclusive
interview
to
oneindia.in
correspondent
during
a
shooting
break
of
Billa
at
AVM,
the
actress
said
that
after
her
break
up
with
Simbu,
many
think
it
is
their
privilege
to
publish
baseless
reports
about
her.
"I
don't
think
this
is
right
journalism.
Many
wrong
stories
have
been
published
about
me
without
my
prior
knowledge
and
consent.
I
hail
from
a
cultured
and
disciplined
family.
But
it
is
incomprihensible
why
these
press
guys
keep
publishing
gossips
or
news
on
me
with
scant
regard
to
my
opinion
and
sentiments…"
When
asked
about
her
refusal
to
act
in
Chiranjeevi's
149th
film,
the
actress
sid:
" My
career
in
Telugu
cinema
is
still
in
its
infancy.
I'm
aware
of
my
position
in
the
industry
as
well
as
the
status
of
the
legendary
Chiranjeevi.
How
can
I
refuse
an
offer
to
act
with
him?
The
fact
is
that
nobody
has
still
approach
me
with
such
an
offer!
If
indeed
such
opportunity
comes
my
way
in
the
future,
I
will
be
the
happiest
girl
to
act
against
the
megastar…"
Talking
about
her
lead
lady
role
with
Ajith,
Nayan
said:
"I
had
seen
the
original
Billa
after
signed
for
its
new
version
and
I
was
inspired
a
lot
with
the
performances
of
Sripriya
and
the
late
Praveena.
In
modern
Billa,
Namitha
is
my
co
star,
who
has
enacted
the
role
of
Praveena.
Ajith
is
somebody
special
in
the
industry.
Being
a
sincere
artist,
his
dedication
and
concern
for
his
co-stars
make
him
unique.
I
felt
very
safe
and
comfortable
on
the
sets
of
Billa!"
Nayanthara
is
at
present
busy
with
two
films
in
Telugu
and
3
projects
in
Tamil.
