Nila
has
been
very
selective
in
choosing
her
projects
in
Tamil.
Killadi
was
one
among
those
films.
But
the
sudden
suspension
of
the
movie's
shooting
has
become
a
cause
of
worry
for
Nila.
The
shooting
for
the
Bharath
starrer
film
proceeded
at
a
brisk
pace,
and
the
director
Venkatesh
has
completed
shooting
for
nearly
70
percent
of
the
movie
by
now.But
the
producer
Salem
Chandrasekar
has
suddenly
lost
his
interest
in
the
project,
and
requested
the
director
to
suspend
the
shooting
until
further
instructions
are
given
out
by
him.
Earlier,
Chandrasekar
had
produced
Sabari,
a
Vijayakanth
starrer
film,
which
became
a
disaster
for
the
producer
at
the
box-office.
Due
to
paucity
of
funds,
director
Venkatesh
has
stopped
the
shooting
of
Killadi,
and
will
resume
it
once
funds
are
available.
A
few
song
sequences
and
the
climax
are
yet
to
be
filmed.
The
director
has
decided
to
concentrate
on
his
next
project
with
Singakutti
starring
Sivaji
Junior
(Sivaji
Film's
Ramkumar's
son).

"The
suspension
of
Killadi
shooting
really
worries
me.
I
had
not
anticipated
such
a
situation.
My
last
film
was
Lee.
So
naturally
I've
pinned
high
hopes
on
Killadi.
I
hope
the
shooting
of
the
film
will
resume
soon
and
the
producer
is
able
to
tide
over
his
financial
crisis..."
Let
us
all
hope
that
the
producer
is
able
to
recover
from
his
financial
crisis
and
complete
this
film,
much
to
the
relief
of
Nila!
