Director
P
Vasu
said
that
he
has
plans
of
making
a
movie
titled
Vettaiyan
with
Superstar
Rajinikanth.
Coincidently
Vettaiyan
is
the
name
of
one
of
Rajini's
characters
in
his
blockbuster
Chandramukhi.
Recently
Rajini
read
out
the
entire
orignal
script
of
the
film
at
a
function
recently,
which
surprisingly
had
the
character
in
a
lot
more
prominence.
But
in
the
film
the
Vettaiyan's
role
was
reduced
to
give
way
for
Jyothika's
character
to
be
the
most
prominent
in
the
climax
of
the
film.
The
director
has
apparently
given
the
Superstar's
Vettaiyan
character
in
the
film
a
makeover
that
suits
is
grandeur.
The
director
is
supposed
to
have
spoken
to
the
Superstar
giving
him
a
one-line
description
of
Vettaiyan
and
he
was
all
ears
while
the
director
narrated
the
other
details
of
the
character.
The
director
said,
"Prabhu
is
keen
on
making
the
film
Vettaiyan
with
the
superstar.
He
has
infact
registered
the
title
at
the
Film
Chamber.
If
the
Superstar
approves
of
the
films
USP
and
gives
me
his
dates,
I
will
immediately
start
work
on
the
film."
The
director
added,
"If
everything
goes
smoothly
as
we
expect
it
to,
Vettayan
will
hit
the
floor
soon.
One
thing
that
is
sure
is
that
the
film
will
not
be
a
sequel
of
Chandramukhi.
It
will
only
be
strongly
based
on
the
character
of
Vettaiyan
in
Chandramukhi
and
will
be
an
action
-
romance
flick." Will
the
script
convince
the
Superstar?
Lets
wait
and
see.
