Paruthi Veeran in Telugu

Director Samudra is planning to remake the Tamil blockbuster of the year Paruthi Veeran in Telugu. He is currently busy with his maiden Tamil venture Sivam. After completing the project, he will commence the remake of Paruthi Veeran.

He had formally got the rights of the movie from its producer and instructed his assistants to make the necessary changes in the script as per the requirements in Telugu. "I know how Paruthi Veeran rocked the state. The script is heart melting and I would like to remake the film with out missing its feel. The slang of Godavari District will be used in this remake. I'll go for a new face instead of an established one for the lead role," said the director.

When asking about his plan to enter as a hero through the film, the director replied, "At present there is no such idea."
