Preethi,
an
upcoming
actress
in
Tamil,
eloped
with
her
Manager
Arun
to
Andhra
Pradesh.
Her
mother
Ramya
has
lodged
a
complaint
at
K.K.Nagar
police
station
claiming
that
her
daughter
has
been
abducted
by
Arun.
The
K.K.Nagar
police
also
confirmed
the
same
and
has
ordered
the
Andhra
police
to
search
for
them.
Preethy has already appeared as a second lead in Thullal and Veeranna apart from featuring in a few item songs. The lady at present is working on an item dance in S.J.Surya's Thirumagan.
Arun, who previously worked as a manager to actress Vindhya has a bad reputation as he was earlier (3 years before) rumoured to have eloped with Vindhya who ran away with him against the wishes of her family. Both had then got married after which Arun began doing cultural programmes along with the actress, only to separate from her recently.
Arun got acquainted with Preethi Verma at a cultural event held in Malaysia. Since then both met frequently and all knew that the two were having a torrid affair. Preethy's parents, who had great plans for her were shocked when they got to know about thieir relationship. They strongly objected and advised Preethi to concentrate on her acting career. Preethi's Mother Ramya who personally contacted S.J.Surya to get her a role in Thirumagan was of the impression that her daughter's career would take off after this film. However, the lass was completely enamoured by Arun, who persuaded her to make him her manager and also began getting her assignments for stage shows in Dubai. It was during that time that she got a chance to play an item girl in a Telugu movie. Arun, knowing very well her financial assets took complete advantage of the situation and went along with her to Raajamundri in Andhra where the shooting was scheduled to take place.
Since then, Preethi's family got no information whatsoever from her. Ramya's many phone calls on her daughter's cell number proved fruitless until one fine day Arun answered the call and announced that the two were married!
