Rajinikanth flies to US

Superstar Rajinikanth has left for US yesterday for a two weeks vacation. He arrived at the Chennai Meenambakkam airport in the early morning at 2am and boarded the US bound Lufthansa flight.

The sudden appearance of the actor gave a sweet surprise to the passengers. Rajinikanth's fans in a large number gathered at the airport to greet their superstar. Sources said, Rajini would spent few days in Belgium before going to US.

Rajini's latest blockbuster Shivaji has been released six weeks ago and rocked the globe. The film got an extra ordinary opening across the world, especially in America and Britain. Shivaji has released in nearly 100 theatres across the country and still running in few theatres. The film set a new box office record wherever it was released. In Belgium also Shivaji was screened in 8 theatres for two weeks.

It is remembered, a few weeks before the release of the film, the actor had paid a visit to Himalayas.
