KS Ravikumar to direct Rajini's next film

The million-dollar question is now which film will be Rajini’s next blockbuster. After Shivaji was released the superstar had many producers at his doorstep. Right now Rajini is helping out with his daughters animation project Sultan - The Warrior. It is being shot in Brazil at present. Sources say that he will finish his holiday in the US by the last week of August and then take a decision.

One certainty is that the lucky director will be one of his close friends. The most probable player in this case in KS Ravikumar. It is rumoured that the star met with Ravikumar and approved his next project. The director is at present directing Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam.

For the record, the director delivered two of the Superstar's previous hits Padayappa and Muthu. They planned to make a film Jaggu Bhai a few years back. Due to unknown reason, the project was shelved. Maybe Rajini wants to capitalize on this opportunity and restart the project again.

The producers of the film will be Panchu Arunachalam and K Balachander. The film be formally announced the last week of August.
