Rajkiran,
the
producer-
turned-
director-
cum-
hero
has
decided
to
restart
his
directorial
venture
Adam
and
Eval
again
this
month.
Rajkiran
started
his
filmi
career
as
a
film
distributor.
After
20
years
of
doing
good
business,
he
entered
Kollywood
as
a
producer
with
the
film
Raasaave
Unnai
Nambi.
Being
a
close
friend
of
Isaignani
Ilayaraaja,
he
titles
all
his
films
with
the
prefix
'Raasa'
(except
Aranmanai
Kili)
to
show
his
respect
towards
the
maestro.
He
has
defied
all
the
definitions
to
become
a
hero
in
Tamil
filmdom.
A
big
mustache,
half
tied
dhoti
showing
the
striped
underwear,
and
a
rough
look
is
the
identity
of
this
actor
in
his
films.
He
was
the
only
actor
other
than
superstar
Rajinikanth,who
got
a
salary
of
more
than
a
crore
in
the
early
nineties.
Ace
comedian
'Vaigai
Puyal'
Vadivelu
was
introduced
to
filmdom
by
Rajkiran
only.
But
after
his
debacle
in
Manickam
and
confusions
in
his
personal
life,
Rajkiran
has
been
concentrating
more
on
acting
instead
of
directing
films.
His
last
directorial
venture
was
Ellame
Enn
Raasathan.
A
few
months
ago,
Rajkiran
had
launched
a
film
titled
Adam
Eval
under
his
direction.
Ilayaraaja
is
his
music
director
for
this
project
too.
But
after
a
few
days
of
shooting
following
the
pooja,
the
film's
shooting
was
stopped
due
to
various
reasons.
Now
he
is
getting
ready
to
restart
the
film
again
with
a
bang.
Rajkiran
told
us:
"Life
has
its
share
of
highs
and
the
lows.
Nobody
can
be
an
exception
to
this
law
of
nature.
I
enjoyed
my
days
in
the
field
when
I
was
at
my
peak.
Now
I
believe
that
a
good
phase
in
my
life
is
about
to
begin.
I
would
like
to
restart
the
film
Adam
Eval
with
the
lilting
tunes
of
Ilayaraaja.
There
will
be
a
change
in
the
title,
and
I
have
planned
to
restart
the
project
on
June
