Ravi Krishna, Tamanna to act in MGR remake

Yet another film with a title of a MGR film, Netru Indru Naalai. Ravi Krishna, the hero of 7G Rainbow Colony, will be acting in a lead role in the film - his only lead role for over a year now. Akshara and Tamanna will play the female lead roles. Directed by Lakshmikanth, the film will be a bi-lingual one which will be made in Tamil and Telugu. Tamanna will be acting alongside Ravi Krishna for the second time - her first was Kedi which was a flop.

Speaking about the film, he said, 'It is a different film for me. It is racy and entertaining. I had to lose 15 kgs for the role. The crux of the movie is about the sequence of events a youngster undergoes in three days of his life'. On his part, the director said, "When I penned the script, I had Ravi Krishna in mind. He is excellent talent to encourage and work with..."

This movie is based on the life of the hero and things that happen to him in three days. The entire movie has almost been completed. 5 songs also been shoot. Only a few scenes are left to be shot. The film will be released in December simultaneously in Tamil Nadu and Andhra. Ravi Krishna will be seen in another movie Nee Ooda Naan Thuratha. He also plans to act in a historical movie under the direction of his brother Jyoti Krishna.
