Saranya to act without make up

Saranya Bhagyaraaj will be seen on screen acting without make up in a film titled Dhik... Dhik. For a long time, she was not seen in films despite her successful debut in Malayalam film Paarijatham. She also got a role in Malayalam film Photographer in which she acted along side Mohanlal. But the film failed to attract an audience. Many Tamil directors approached her offering her roles in their upcoming projects. She refused them because she didn't find the stories good enough.

She said 'I don't bothering about the number of film that I do. Good stories and good characters are my priorities. In Dhik Dhik, I have a chance to act in a good role. The subject of the film is heroine oriented. I am acting in the role of a teacher in the movie'.

The shooting of Dhik Dhik was been launched yesterday at the AVM Studios. Veteran actor K.Bhagyaraj, Saranya's father, formally inaugurated the shooting. Mumtaz is the other heroine in the film. The hero of the film will be debutante actor. The film is directed by Igore whose previous films include Kalabhak Kadhalan in which Arya plays the male lead role. The music in Dhik...Dhik will be composed by Deva.
