Record sales of Shivaji Audio

The AVM music, distributors of Shivaji music have released the official data on the sale of the Shivaji audio. According to them, Shivaji audio sales have scaled a new peak in the history of Indian cinema. Nearly 7 lakhs audio CDs and cassettes have been sold out all over the country in the past 7 days.

In Tamil Nadu alone, 1, 40,000 CDs and 1, 08,000 cassettes got sold out by the second day of the audio launch. The music company CEO Babu told us, 'We are receiving the orders for more CDs and cassettes even this very moment, and the supply will be done from time to time depending on the demand.

If we include the sales in other states also, the figure will cross 7 lakhs. Shivaji has created a new record in the sale of audio CDs in Malaysia and Singapore. In Kerala alone, more than 50 thousands CDs have been sold. It is more than the sales of an original Malayalam film'.In Andhra also, Shivaji audio is getting sold at a brisk rate.

However AVM hasen't disclosed the details of the audio sales in other countries. According to the source, more than 25,000 CDs were sent to the US in the first pack. The same number of CDs was sent to Canada also. The company soon expects audio sales reports from South Africa, Australia, Srilanka and Japan also.

AVM claims that the ring tone and real tone of Shivaji has also has set a new high in the industry. The increasing demand for the punch dialogues to be downloaded as the ring tone has surprised the company, and has forced it to release more such 'punches' for the mobile users.
