Shivaji
has
sent
shock
waves
through
Gods
Own
Land
too-
that
too
in
its
second
week
of
running.
The
film
has
collected
over
4
crores
within
a
fortnight
of
release.
The
state
film
distributor
spent
3.2
on
its
distribution.
The
film
opened
to
86
theatres
across
the
state,
which
itself
is
a
record
for
any
film
released
in
Kerala
so
far.
Though
while
in
its
second
week,
the
film
is
playing
in
a
reduced
number
of
centres
-
60
centres.
The
capital
has
alone
contributed
20
lakhs
to
the
films
profits
from
being
screened
in
the
state.
The
surprise
here
is
that
a
Rajinikanth
film
is
attracting
families
huge
number
-
something
that
has
never
been
seen
in
the
states
theatres
before.
Film
distributor
Johnny
Sagariga,
who
is
the
films
distributor
for
Kochi,
has
already
earned
double
his
investment.
It
managed
to
become
the
top
release
of
the
state.
It
presently
the
first
name
in
the
list
of
the
Top
5
movies
running
this
week
in
the
state
-
a
place
in
the
charts
it
maintained
from
its
first
day
of
release.
The
only
previous
films
that
can
be
categorized
with
the
success
of
Shivaji
in
Kerala
is
another
Rajini
flick
-
Thalapathi
-
in
which
he
co
starred
with
Malayalam
superstar
Mammotty.
