Kamal drops Shreya

The secret of Shivaji's success is well known. It is Rajini and only Rajini that made the film such a huge success. But somehow much junior actress Shreya has seemed to have taken the films success to her head and has hiked up her rate to 70 lakhs a film.

Due this blunder and pride of hers, she has been passed by for a role in Kamala Hassan's new film. After finishing with Dasavathaaram, Kamal Hassan has planed for his next flick with producer London Karunas. It is rumoured that director P Vasu will direct this film.

He approached the actress for a role in the film and she asked for a 60 lakh plus payment. Due to her 'high priceyness', Kamal Hassan is on the look out for another actress to play the lead role. Trisha is rumoured to be offered the role. Don't forget, debutante producer Udhyanithi just recently offered her a crore for a film.

In other Kamal Hassan news, actor Prabhu has approached the legend concerning a film that he wishes to produce under his Shivaji Films banner. Kamal has not given him his word yet but has said that he will consider it.
