Simbu is my friend - Dhanush

When everyone is eyeing Simbu and Dhanush as rivals, Dhanush has shocked everyone by saying Simbu is his pal!

The team of Subramania Siva, Dina and Yugabarathy that gave a hit in "manmadha raasa..." and Thirudaa Thirudi, is teaming up again in Pori.

Sambandam Karthi has produced this film starring Jeeva and Pooja for Nivipavi Creations. The audio release took place this morning at Sathyam theatre this morning (Jan 3, 2007).

Dhanush, Jayam Ravi, Jeeva, Srikanth, Pasupathy, Karunaas and other actors were seated on one side and directors Ameer, Susi Ganesan, Karu Palaniappan, Durai, Perarasu, RD Rajasekhar, Ekambaram and Ravivarman and film technicians were seated on the other side. It was a grand sight.

The team of actors released the audio and the team of directors accepted it. When producer K Rajan expressed his conviction that Jeeva would become another MGR, Jeeva looked pleased as punch. Going by the songs, succeeding speakers also felt that Pori looked like a definite hit and this made the producer and director quite happy.

Three of the songs were screened but it looks like the kuthu song is going to be the super hit.

"A lot of young actors have come today. It's a pity my friend Simbu is also not here," said Dhanush and one could see the shocked look in the audience, since the two are considered competitors. People were further surprised when he continued that he and Simbu addressed each other as 'maaman' and 'machchaan.'

Producer Sambandam Karthi had welcomed the gathering and director Subramania Siva proposed the vote of thanks.
